Joeten-Kiyu Public Library Welcomes Students Back-to- School and Announces Temporary Operating Hours

[SAIPAN, MP] The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library (JKPL) extends a warm welcome to all students, educators, parents, and families as a new academic year begins. As students return to school, JKPL remains committed to supporting the community by providing access to books, research materials, internet services, and a welcoming environment for studying, learning, and completing school assignments. The library encourages students and families to make use of these resources throughout the school year.

In conjunction with the start of the new academic year, JKPL announces temporary operating hours effective Tuesday, August 18, 2026, until further notice.

Temporary Library Hours

Tuesday: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Thursday: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Friday: 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

JKPL appreciates the community’s continued support, patience, and understanding during this period. Any updates or changes to the temporary operating schedule will be announced as they become available. The Joeten-Kiyu Public Library looks forward to welcoming everyone back and wishes all students a successful, productive, and enjoyable school year.
